Behaviour

At Lydford Primary, we promote positive praise for excellent effort in all areas of the curriculum as well as in social and emotional awareness.  We follow the Behaviour policy and use a ‘Good to be Green’ system for rewards and sanctions. Every child starts each day on a green card and has the opportunity to 'stop and think' if behaviour slips during a lesson. We expect all members of our school community to adhere to our values and ethos. Being respectful and helping each other to learn underpin our values and ethos. Nurture, Inspire, Achieve – a small school learning together in the local community. We have the highest expectations of behaviour and conduct of staff and pupils at Lydford Primary. Our clearly constructed behaviour flowcharts follow the procedure for exceptional and unacceptable behaviour.
